The only glass type more heat resistant than borosilicate is quartz (pure silica). We use quartz in our bangers and dabbing accessories so that dabbers can torch those tools to the high temperatures necessary for consuming wax and other concentrates without risk of damaging their pipe. We'd love to make everything out of quartz, but that would be like making everything out of diamond - it would just be too expensive. Think of borosilicate as the platinum to quartz's diamond.
