Online shopping is legit awesome. You can order the things that you want from your couch while watching Alf in your underpants and smoking a bowl. Truly, it is the dream our grandparents dreamt for us.
But there is that one pesky little limitation—you can’t get your hands on the product before you buy. And your view of the product is limited to the pictures provided. You can’t turn it all around to see it from every angle. Plus, it can be hard to get a sense of size and scale in pictures.
We hear ya, fam. So we’re taking steps to help you get a better handle on GRAV® products, from home, before you buy.
It’s not Wonkavision. But it’s close.
GRAV® Goes 3D
We do our best to provide clear and detailed pictures of our pieces. We’re pretty damn proud of them, after all.
But we think we can do ya one better.
How about a 3D rendering of each product? An image that you can spin around 360 degrees to see each pipe, bubbler, or bong from top-down, bottom-up, and side-to-side?
We’re releasing new demos in 3D for some of our favorite pieces. Get an up-close view of mouthpieces, downstems, and percs. You’ll be able to see exactly how many holes are in each perc, which will give you a better idea of how bubbly the piece can be. Follow the pathway from bowl to mouthpiece, so you can tell exactly how far that smoke has to travel.

WTF is AR?
3D is awesome. But Augmented Reality (AR) may be even cooler.
(Don’t glaze over. Stay with us.)
With AR, you can add a virtual image to the real physical space around you. Remember the Pokémon GO craze? That’s basic AR.
So we figured if you can see a cartoon Jigglypuff in your local park with your cell phone, why can’t you also see a GRAV® Empress Water Pipe in your living room?
With GRAV’s AR, that’s exactly what you can do. Using your mobile device, you can view select products in your own home. Your phone’s camera will capture the space around you, superimposing the bubbler or water pipe into the room. Get a feel for the size of the piece in relation to pieces you already have, or just see how it will look on your bookshelf.
How to Start Playing with 3D and AR
Not every product in the GRAV® catalog is available to view in 3D or AR yet. But we’re working on it!
In the meantime, you can visit our AR Collection page to access all of the products that have this functionality. There you’ll find 3D views and the AR experience for the following products:
You can visit the product pages right on your phone to access the AR function. Or view them on your computer and click “View in my space.” You’ll get a QR code to scan on your phone, which will start the AR experience. Point your camera around the room, and drag and drop the bubbler or bong to see it where you want it.
This is just the beginning. We’re working on a series of product demo updates to help you better understand GRAV products—before you buy them.
